GreatKid – Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to GreatKid, operated by Testla LLC ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting the personal information of parents, guardians, and children who use our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information – Your name and email address when you register.
Child Profiles – Names, ages, and avatar preferences of children in your family account. We do not collect children's email addresses or contact details.
Usage Data – Task completions, reward redemptions, and in-app interactions used to improve your experience.
Device Information – Device type, OS version, and push notification token for delivering reminders.
Photo Proofs – Optional photos taken to verify completed chores, stored securely in Amazon S3 with a 3-day automatic deletion policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your family account.
To provide task tracking, reward management, and family coordination features.
To send push notifications and email reminders you have opted into.
To improve app performance and fix bugs.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

GreatKid is designed for parents and guardians to manage their children's activities. Child profiles are created and controlled entirely by the parent/guardian account holder. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at connect@vouchmate.app.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on AWS infrastructure in the US East (N. Virginia) region. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited and audited.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including child profiles, tasks, and reward history — is permanently deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

Access – Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Correction – Update your account information at any time in Settings.
Deletion – Delete your account and all data via Settings › Delete Account.
Portability – Request a data export by contacting us.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

AWS (Amazon Web Services) – Cloud infrastructure and data storage.
Firebase Cloud Messaging – Push notification delivery.
Firebase Analytics – Aggregate, anonymised app usage analytics.
RevenueCat – Subscription management. Payments are processed by Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not store or handle payment card details.

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

9. Advertising ID

GreatKid does not use the Android Advertising ID (AAID) or any equivalent advertising identifier. We have explicitly opted out of the AD_ID permission to ensure children's accounts cannot be fingerprinted for advertising purposes.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of GreatKid after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

12. Account & Data Deletion

You can delete your GreatKid account and all associated data directly from within the app:

Open the GreatKid app.
Tap Settings in the bottom navigation bar.
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Confirm deletion when prompted.

All data — including child profiles, tasks, rewards, and history — is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion.

You may also request account and data deletion by emailing connect@vouchmate.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days.
